You will be provided with a link in your booking confirmation which will allow us to put a pre authorisation on your bank card for the sum of £300. This can only be done within 48 hours of your hire start date. Alternatively you are able to pay cash on the day which will be refunded to you on safe return of the horsebox
We provide 250 miles per day as standard. Any excess mileage will be charged at 50p/mile.
Our horsebox is always supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be returned back to us with the same amount. Failure to refuel will incur a £20 charge, plus the cost of the fuel.
As we take pride in our vehicles, our horsebox will be provided to you clean and disinfected in both horse and human areas.
Our horsebox is capable of carrying 2 horses and has a payload of 900kg
We had the box built specifically to carry the biggest of horses. The stallion layout is perfect for the horses to be able to balance themselves during transport. With NO breast bars in the box, there are no risks of the horses / ponys getting into trouble. The option to change the layout to give one horse the back of the box is there also.
Our fully comprehensive insurance covers drivers from the ages 25-75. You must have at least 2 years driving experience and no more than 6 penalty points. Young drivers can be accommodated upon request - additional cost to the hirer for this.
When hiring from us we will need a copy of your driving licence front and rear. 2 proof of address both matching the address on your licence. We will also need a DVLA check code, which can be obtained from here https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence. If this is your first time hiring with us, you will have to fill out our first time hire questionnaire which will be attached to your confirmation email when you book. Please fill this out and provide all documents at least 24 hours prior to the hire
You are entitled to a full refund if the booking is cancelled 7 or more days before your collection date. After this no refund will be given but depending on the circumstances it will be down to our discretion to transfer the booking date to another day.

Our Bespoke 3.5 ton horsebox was built by AM Horseboxes, Known for building Safe Strong & Stylish Horse boxes ensuring that both horse and rider arrive at their destination safely & in comfort and style. It is on a 2023 Vauxhall Movano Van with very low mileage
To ensure that you can get to where you’re going without worrying about how far it is we give every hire a 250 mile per day allowance.
Not everyone can afford their own lorry or the stress involved in towing a trailer. Renting a horsebox is far cheaper than buying and maintaining your own.
