Barwell Hire is run by Vicky Meek & James Barwell, Vicky & James have a combined experience of over 40 years in the transport industry. Although we specialise in haulage we decided to start a new venture going right back to the beginning where it all started for Vicky when she passed her HGV test at the age of 20 to transport her own horses to competitions. Vicky then decided to gain experience driving HGV’s for many years, which led to working for various different well known horse transporters and woking all over Europe transporting horses along with other animals. With Vicky’s vast experience within the equine industry combined with both James & Vicky running a successful haulage company we believe we can offer you a service that cannot be matched elsewhere.

Located in Wisbech next to the A47 we hire our self-drive 3.5t luxury horsebox for your desired requirements. At Barwell Hire, we are passionate about providing safe and reliable transportation for your horse. That's why our vehicles undergo a safety and mechanical inspection by professional mechanics and bodywork specialists every three months. We have a full HGV workshop on site, this hire vehicle is kept to the highest of standards.
